Recentemente tem havido discussões no IFUSP sobre a carga didática dos seus professores. 4 horas, 6 ou as 8 horas (de acordo com a LDB)? Muitas são as opiniões dos nossos colegas, sejam eles professores, alunos do IFUSP, ou apenas pessoas preocupadas com a qualidade do ensino em Física na USP. Muitos colegas defendem que um docente não pode dedicar mais que 4 horas a atividades didáticas em sala de aula. O aumento desta carga, segundo estes colegas, acarreta em uma degradação da qualidade do ensino de Física e que a discussão sobre este assunto é injustificável.

When we talk about the discovery of a new state of matter at RHIC, also called the Quark Gluon Plasma, we usualy show results on elliptic flow, jet suppression, energy loss, etc. This is rather technical and the non-specialized audience sometimes feel confused about this.
